Project Details
Entirely every forever is an story told through the medium of
augmented reality, created as a commission for the Queens Wharf Cultural
District, supported, in part, by the Brisbane City Council and Destination
Brisbane Consortium. It is a tale told by an all-seeing magpie who is outside
of the realms of time. The story is set in Meanjin, or Brisbane, Australia,
and this magpie has seen this place throughout time. The magpie tells the
story of different eras, including engagements with people, engagements
with other entities and creatures, and eventually, engagements with the built
environment.
The story is told across eight chapters that each have a series of
unique, interactable, animated 3D digital sculptures that the user stands within.
The user can look around and above themselves to see the full extent of each
sculpture, or they can remain still and watch the sculpture animating around them.
The user can also employ touch interaction by swiping a finger across certain
objects in order to move the sculpture around.
The work can be accessed through a brass QR code located in the middle of
Queen’s Wharf Precinct in Brisbane, Australia.
Published & exhibited
Queen’s Wharf Precinct, Brisbane, Australia.
